The New Shul, a progressive Jewish community, present The Kumah Festival of Faith, Art and Ideas. I will be sharing a shabbat-focused iteration of my made-for-zoom score "This Time", on a shared evening with Davalois Fearon. The evening also includes an artist talk moderated by curator Maia Wechsler.
Commissioned to create a new video dance work for the DANCE NOW 25th Anniversary season. Each chapter features a mix of archival and new commissioned work viewed in their online gallery and artist-to-audience celebrations on Zoom. Watch party on May 6th, film available until June 30th.

Selected to participate in a 6 week art farm residency including 2 weeks of personal practice while camping on the land and collaborating with Fat Dragon Farm, and 4 weeks of collective creative process culminating in an interdisciplinary public art event.
In November 2020, ∞therside was finally forced to cancel our long-awaited annual residency set to take place in Budrio, Italy. In a desire to continue to find creative solutions and keep creating together, we committed to 3 weekend intensives on Zoom.
NexToNow is a studio salon for performing free improvisation, attended mostly by dancers, musicians and our audience supporters! Expect an intimate, low-key, experimental vibe. I'll be a featured performer (meaning I'll perform for at least 15 minutes). I believe donations are welcome from wtinesses.

DanceNow Encore features 10 performers selected from the fall festival. I'll present rollercoaster, a 5 min solo created in collaboration with Lauren Hlubny. Dinner theater venue- come have a early evening cocktail and watch a diverse sampling of dance!
As a complement to the Songs Stuck in My Body performance, Sarah and Lauren present a workshop inspired by the compositional tools used in the piece, focusing on improvisation, finding solo artistic voice, and theatrical framing

∞therside is an itinerant international improvisation collective whose members each hail from a different country. We meet annually for a 16 day research/creation and performance residency in one member's country. 2019 includes performances in Thessaloniki and a residency in Stavros with members from Greece, USA (me!), Italy and Switzerland
